abundance is amazing boots

I just want to put it out there that I am seriously coveting these boots.

This is not typical pecannoot material, but hear me out. These boots are $278.00. That's more than I've ever paid for any pair of shoes. Like, *way* more!

But here's the thing. We need to believe that we deserve nice things. I need to believe that I deserve nice things.

So, back to the boots. I want them. I deserve them. I think these boots would make me feel like a bad ass, and that's never a bad thing!

What would make you feel like a bad ass? (In a good way, not a judgmental, yucky way.)

I'll keep you posted if I decide to splurge. :)

  2. I have been drooling over a nice pair of boots latey too.
I think you are right, it is OK to have nice things and with shoes it is important to have a good fit and quality- seriously, these would probably last you a very long long time to boot (ha! sorry)

  5. Why not bribe yourself with the boots? Complete a goal, get the boots. You can call it a "celebration" as well - what can you celebrate by buying the boots?

Am I an enabler? :) If so, then just ask yourself this: Does this add value to my life? Would this make my life better? See what you can come up with.

    I'm still an enabler, ain't I?

  7. okay, so i just bought my first leather jacket... it is a designer brand i've been coveting for ages, and it was waaaaaay more expensive than any one article of clothing i've ever bought... but it makes me feel like a total rocker-chick badass and i love it! i say throw caution to the wind and just go for it... you do so much, you totally deserve it!

  8. Buy the boots!! There are so few items of clothing that can make you feel like a "bad ass" and well made leather boots are at the top of the list . Life is short and good boots last a long time. Totally worth it if you can swing it ;)
